International Stonesculptor Syposium 2009

Steinbildhauer aus der ganzen Welt nehmen am ersten Symposium in Vättis, einem kleinen Dorf in den Schweizer Alpen, teil.
Stone sculptors world-wide participated at the first stone sculptor symposium in Vättis, a small village in the Swiss alps.

Unterwegs in künstlerischer Mission 2009
Outside of the Gallery (PL)
Mit Unterstützung der Europäischen Kommission entstand das bis dahin größte Kunstwerk im Palästinensischen Raum. Christian I. Peintner wurde eingeladen um im Rahmen eines Workshops künstlerische Techniken zu vermitteln. Das Projekt wird von Women's Affairs Technical committee (WATC) sowie dem Open Workshop for Culture and Art (OWCA) geleitet. Das fertige Wandbild soll die Grösse von 5 x 20 Meter haben.
Supported by the European Commission, currently the largest work of art will be created in Palestine. Christian I. Peintner were invited in order to holde a workshop in special techniques. The project is led by Woman's Affairs Technical Committee (WATC) and the Open Workshop for Culture and Art (OWCA). Sitze of final mural will be 5 x 20 meter.

Kunststaat niemandsland
In seinem Roman „niemandsland oder der Mann ohne Namen" hinterfragt Christian I. Peintner die Grenzen von Staaten und schreibt von einem virtuellen Freiraum, der im Grunde ganz real ist.

Wie gründe ich einen Staat:
"Die Idee hinter der Absicht seinen eigenen Staat zu gründen ist die Idee anders zu sein, dinge zu tun in der Weise wie man sich vorstellt wie diese getan werden müssen." Wie Erwin Strauss, dessen Idee hierzu bereits 1984 dokumentiert wurde.
how to start your own country:
"The idea of starting you own country is the idea of braking away, of doing things the way you wont to have them done." Following the idea of Erwin Strauss, his idea was documented 1984 for the first time.
Created on August 6th 2004. Neighbour states (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) were informed at the same time.
No man's land can be occupied. In the civil right it can be handled as an finder's reward. In this case this no man's land was proclaimed by its own discovered theory (the third theory, Germany has none).
It was started as an artistic project but from this day 'niemandsland' (no man's land) proclaimed to exist also as a sovereign state which is constantly forcing the German, Austrian and Swiss government to clarify the border situation in Lake Constance (Bodensee), which is a geographic oddity since about 350 years. The goal is to be legalised and also to receive its one part of the territory, even if there is one spot in the lace (in the world) where humanity and freedom can have their homeland.
This new stat is not acting as all the other states. As a symbol for 'niemandsland' there is no flag, no hymn, no passport, no number of inhabitants, no currency but nothing the less there are existing citizens of 'niemandsland', mainly artists who'd like to dedicate this land to mankind.
The European Parliament was handling this subject under petition number 1014-08!"

Erstmals in dieser Vollständigkeit
teilweise noch nie gezeigte sowie neue Werke wurden in der Lustenauer Galerie Hollenstein im Jahr 2007 gezeigt. Der Schwerpunkt der Gemälde ist der Akt und dieser prägt die Ausstellung, gezeigt wurden Körperdarstellungen.

Nella sua video installazione performativa, Christian I. Peintner tematizza in modo dimostrativo la dipendenza dall'immagine. Ricorrendo a video scuri, che svolgono il ruolo di sculture su un appoggio, scandaglia l'omnipresente e scrive ad esempio: "E adesso che cosa fa della Sua libertà?" oppure "il sesso vende" oppure si chiede se ora sia possibile vedere meglio il dolore e la povertà.
Pur adottando un atteggiamento assolutamente socio-politico e critico, è rasserenante e il visitatore trova comunque le rappresentazioni cinematografiche che si aspettava.

Malen ist ein meditative Verfeinerung und ein Reifeprozeß.
Die Verhaftung an der materiellen Welt bedeutet leidbringende Gebundenheit. Eine Erdenschwere tut sich beim Festhalten auf, die mich meiner Freiheit beraubt. Sie zwingt mich zum Gebrauch, gerade jener Eigenschaft, die ich nicht zu besitzen glaube.
Wenn Besitztum von uns Besitz ergreift, verhalten wir uns wie der Vogel welcher zum Flug ansetzt und nicht bereit ist, den Ast loszulassen, auf dem er sitzt.
Malen ist ein meditative Verfeinerung und ein Reifeprozeß.
